Lizzy and Doug – Part 2!!!

Lizzy and Doug were married last weekend in a beautiful intimate ceremony with family and friends at the Southwyn Mansion in Spring Hill, FL.  Only a week earlier they flew back to the states from school in England!  I had a great time meeting their families and I have had a lot of fun with these images…I generally tend to stay away from trendy editing styles but this wedding totally lent itself to some beautiful vintage style film finishes.  Here are a peak (part 2) at how their wedding images are coming along!  Lizzy and Doug,  thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day.  It was a pleasure to meet you and I wish you both the best life together!

So, It is now 1:15am and I have a little one who will be waking up for breakfast in 6 hours….SO here is just a little peak at how Lizzy and Doug’s Spring Hill wedding images are coming along (Don’t you love the color palette!?)!  I will post part 2 of their sneak peak tomorrow – Its bedtime for me!!

Fun blog…and amazing dress!!

So – I found this really fun blog “The Unbride” and wanted to share but even more amazing then that is the most recent post (Nov 13) about Etsy designer Sarah Seven who designs AMMMAZING wedding dresses (and other dresses)!  Check out the blog for fun unconventional wedding ideas and check out Sarah Seven’s Etsy shop which will make you want to get married all over again in one of her creations!  Any of you brides out there still looking for that unique wedding dress this is for you!

 

 

Mike + Janelle = LOVE

This past weekend I had the incredible honor of photographing the wedding ceremony for Janelle and Mike on St. Pete Beach.  In the few short hours that I spent with them I was reminded of something…that weddings are about love and marriage and committing your life to someone in the presence of God, family and friends.  Not about committing to that perfect floral arrangement or the designer silk gown or about the biggest wedding party with the largest guest list in the biggest reception hall.  Sometimes we so easily loose sight of the fact that, at the end of the day, whether or not the string quartet started Canon in D at precisely the right moment – and whether or not the weather turned plan A into Plan B, C or D – at the end of the day you are married to your best friend!  It was refreshing to see family and friends come together to celebrate love, instead of celebrating a wedding.  Janelle and Mike, you are a genuinely kind couple with wonderful family and friends – I wish you the most incredible marriage!  Here is a little sneak peak at a few images from their wedding day.
