Abby and Josh E-Session!

Meet Abby and Josh!  Abby works for HSN (The Home Shopping Network!) and Josh owns his own home security business!  These guys were so laid back and so much fun to photograph.  Here a a few  of my favorite shots from their engagement session last Sunday in Tampa.  The highlight was definitely the vintage phone booth!!  I could have shot in that spot all day!

Sadly, a lot of people don’t see the purpose of getting engagement photos…honestly, Graham and I didn’t get them done either.  Here is the thing…your engagement photos are likely to be the only professional non-wedding day photos that you guys have taken until you have kids!  That means the only record of this stage of your life is you in a white dress and up-do and him in a tux…maybe I’m wrong here but that hardly represents the exciting, comfy, relaxed and unique day-to-day of this stage of your relationship.  Get an engagement session done to be able to put photos up in your home that remind you of this really special time in your life.  If nothing else…do it so that one day you can prove to your kids that you used to be young, good looking and cool  This shoot reminded me of why I love engagement sessions so much!

Melissa and Dustin E-session!

This week I had the privilege of meeting Dustin and Melissa in St. Pete for a fabulous engagement session on the beach where they got engaged.  Not only are these guys a handsome couple but they are super sweet as well and clearly enjoy each others company.  They were so laid back and easy to photograph – my favorite part was that they were up for anything and had already made a request to get some fun shots in the water.  They even brought their four pet turtles to get in on the action! I could seriously post 100 pictures up here but I will try to limit myself!  Here is sneak peak at how their images are turning out!  Melissa and Dustin – you guys rock! Fun new product!

I am really excited about this newest product!  Ashlee at Serendipity Design has created some fun custom monograms and Save-the-Dates that will be included in some of my wedding packages and will also be available to you guys as an add-on!  You will select your own monogram design and card layout and then she will customize it with your colors and text.  The concept can be printed as a Save the Date postcard featuring an image from your engagement shoot or as a post wedding thank-you card or wedding announcement featuring a picture from your wedding!

Speedy (..ahm..I mean Jonathan) and Erica!

I cannot say enough about these two!  Graham and I have had the pleasure of knowing Speedy and Erica for a few years now and have seen their relationship from the beginning.  So, of course, when they got engaged just a few weeks ago I could not wait for the chance to photograph such a handsome and truly sweet couple.  Not to mention these guys are a bunch of knuckle heads…simply put:)  We tramped all over the historic Ybor district here in Tampa and had a super fun time incorporating all sorts of things that were special to their relationship into the photo shoot!  From music to books and oreos, we attempted to do it all!  And since they waited until they got engaged to share their first kiss…we had to get a few smooching shots:) I could seriously have posted a million pictures from their shoot but I am stopping myself with this handful.  Enjoy!
